Seed of Ignorance has decided to call it a day. We wish we could give you some earth shattering reason, but the sad fact is life outside the band is pulling us in different directions. We’d like to thank our fans, friends and families for sticking by us. We’re honored to have become friends with some great musicians in the scene and it’s been a pleasure to share the stage with so many great bands. We hope to share a beer with you all soon, even though we’ll be doing it from the crowd. Metal. |

We had a great time last night raging with Intemperance, Ichabod Crane and Erasing Never. There is no better feeling than knowing every band on the bill is going to crush. Thanks to all the fans that came out and hails to Erasing Never for knowing how to put together a great show.
We now focus on getting one more new song ready for the Musica show. It should be a great night as well. |

The best laid plans can all come undone from the loss of a sound guy and a blizzard, as was the case Friday. But still we pushed forward and had a great time. The Darker Shore and The Gingerdead Men brought the rock, Abandon All Hope brought the hard core, Winters Bane went home and Trazom did a great job finishing up the night.
It was close to 1am and someone screamed, "Play some Maiden." Trazom responded by saying, "We could butcher 'Flash of the Blade.'" For those that don't know, this is Ryan's all time favorite Iron Maiden song, so thanks to Trazom for allowing him to be 15 again for 4 minutes. And they helped push Gabe's car through the snow. Great bunch of guys.
So again, thanks to The Darker Shore, The Ginderdead Men, Abandon All Hope, Trazom and the diehard fans for braving the cold and kicking some ass. On a night that that should have been a disaster, we all came away smiling. Can't ask for more than that. Metal. |

We'll be playing the Musica March 6th with our buds Ichabod Crane, Under A Dead Sky and Here Lies Another and a cool band called Shark Week! It should be a great night out and we're looking forward to popping our Musica cherry. We hope to see you all there and share a beer with all you Akron metal heads. |

Two Fridays ago we were on at 11.30 behind a steel cage for boozed metal heads. Last Friday we went on at 7.15 for friends and family. Completely different vibes, but both were killer and we're enjoying the ride. Thanks to all the friends and family for showing up early last Friday at Peabody's and making us feel so welcome.
We now focus our attention to the big Kent show on February 5th. This is the first show we've put together so we really need your support. If no one shows, it's on us. All the bands have been hand picked by us and we can guarantee they are the best that rock and metal has to offer. And you also get a chance to witness the mighty Winters Bane who has a hell of a history in the Akron area and around the world. So get your asses out to The Outpost in Kent on February 5th. We promise it will a great night. |

We raged in the cage with Ichabod Crane this Friday and had a great time doing so. If you consider yourself a metal fan, you need to visit The Hulett. Aside from the bands, there's cheap booze and a jukebox full of free metal. Get there this month because February it returns to the punk rockers. Special thanks to our die hards for showing up despite the promise of a blizzard and to our buds in Erasing Never, Under a Dead Sky, Dimaura, Intemperance and Larry Mac for coming out and drinking some cheap beer with us.
We hope to see all you this Friday at the free Resist show where we'll be paying our dues (and getting the only sound check of the night) by going on first. So get your ass out to Peabody's early, get a good parking spot and watch us set the tone for the rest of the night. |

Well, we survived the holidays and now it’s back to the daily grind(core). The good news is the EP is nearly completed and we have some updated show information for you.
The February 5th show at the Outpost has finally come together. We managed to get all our first choices on the bill. Heavy rockers The Darker Shore and The Gingerdead Men will be starting things off and then Kent locals Abandon All Hope will bring the brutal. Ourselves, Canton melodic thrashers Trazom and legendary metal band Winters Bane will round out the bill. It should be one hell of a night. Make sure you print out a flyer and save yourself a buck.
We are also honored to be opening the show for Erasing Never’s CD release party on February 19th at JB’s in Kent. Also on the bill is Ichabod Crane and Intemperance, so you know it’s going to be a killer night. Make sure you get there early so you can catch us.
And speaking of Ichabod Crane, we’ll be playing with them this Friday at The Hulett. If you call yourself a metal fan, The Hulett is the place to be for the month of January. Cheap booze, bad ass metal and it's free to get in. We’re going to rip it up. Hope to see you there. |
